The December 13th, 2021 monthly HARC meeting was held at the Agape House and called to order by KJ7MI at 18:59.

The November 2021 meeting minutes and Treasurer’s Report were distributed via email by J. Kelso on 12/13/2021.

The November 2021 meeting minutes were read by Jeff Sak and the Secretary/Treasurer’s Report was read by Jeff Kelso.  

A motion was made by NB7O to adopt the minutes as read.  Seconded by AA7DD .  Motion passed. 

Ongoing Business

        1.   KJ7MI still has a tower that was donated to the club in his backyard. He would like for the club to do something with it. Whitley said that he would explore the possibility of listing the tower for sale in a wider amateur radio venue.

New Business

  1. The Christmas Dinner has been cancelled due to lack of interest.  There will be a Christmas Breakfast on the same day instead.
  1. The FEMA Interoperability Test is this Wednesday at 9:30 on 60m Channel 1.
  1. Elections were held.  Dennis and Anna were both nominated for President and Vice President at the previous meeting. Dennis stated that didn’t want to be President.  Anna was elected as HARC President by majority vote.  Dennis was re-elected as HARC Vice President by majority vote.  Jeff Kelso was re-elected as HARC Secretary/Treasurer by majority vote.  
  1. NB7O announced that there would be a new WInlink check-in net beginning in January 2022.  The net will begin in Umatilla and Morrow Counties and spread to the rest of District 3 from there.  All exercises will be accomplishable via telnet in the event that HF/VHF/UHF isn’t available to the operator.  The net is meant to provide Winlink practice for net participants.
  1. AA7DD received $100 for the refrigerator that was in the truck.  The gent who wants to purchase the truck has offered $5,500.  The trailer that he had been offering to trade has, according to the interested buyer, been sold. Don will counter-offer with $6,500 and will accept $6,000.  A motion was made by Sam to do that.  Seconded by Ian.  Motion passed.

Meeting was adjourned by KJ7MI at 19:28.
