During the month of March, the Hermiston Amateur Radio Club purchased two refurbished Yaesu DR-1XFR repeaters. They will soon be installed on Sillusi Butte to replace the two Yaesu DR-1X machines that have been the 147.02 and 443.750 repeaters since they were purchased by the Club in 2016. One of the repeaters that are being replaced will serve as the future 147.16 machine and the other will act as a spare.
