Ongoing Business:

  1. Dennis provided a solar report to the club.
  1. Testing update – Kevin reports that nobody has signed up for tomorrow’s session so he’s pulled the session from the website.
  1. Kevin mentioned that the Pendleton Round-Up Wagon Train is happening June 24th through the 28th.  Kevin said that he would like someone to cover the 24th of June if possible.  There is no train scheduled for that day, but the teamsters will be up checking their equipment and it would be nice to have some coverage on that date.  Dennis said that he may be able to cover that day.  Todd said that he’d help on that day, too.
  1. Field Day will happen on June 22nd and 23rd at Drift Fence.  A few members of the club said that they are planning to attend.
  1. Kevin gave a presentation about the Lewis and Clark Trail on the Air event.

     New Business:

  1. Lynn Wilson has offered to donate a FVS-2 Voice Unit to the Club.  The Club decided to pass on the offer.  Anna said that she would let Lynn know.
  2. Jeff and Dennis went up to the repeater site last Saturday morning and explained to the membership what they’d done while up at the repeater, such as installing new battery caps, checking the voltage of the solar panel, and adding water to the batteries.  Both the .02 and 450 antennas need a new coat of black paint or two, they noted.
  3. Todd said that the Oregon Trail Rally will be running this coming weekend.   The race starts in Portland on Friday night, moves to Goldendale on Saturday, and then to Dufur on Sunday.  Race-related radio frequencies will be sent out to the club via the club’s email list.
  4. Alan says that he’s working to get MS Visio installed on one of the EOC computers.

Announcements:

       1.    Club Breakfast – Saturday, May 18th at Rayz Dayz, Umatilla at 8:00 AM.

The meeting was adjourned by KJ7NYZ at 20:16.

Respectfully submitted by Jeff Kelso, W7JJK.
