April 8, 2019 meeting called to order by Jeff at 19:00
March meeting minutes hard copies distributed and available on the club web site. A motion made to approve the minutes by Emery and second by Kimbell. Motion approved.
Introductions:
Treasures Report
Rob provided a verbal update. Checking account in good standing balance $1,331.11. Secretarial report added informing the club that the annual IRS Form 990-N filing for the 501C3 is complete and awaiting confirmation.
Old Business
Field Day – location to be voted on at the May meeting. Robin needs to know soon so that he can prepare the facility. The club has decided that for those that are going would be packing out their own trash and using restroom facilities in personal travel trailer of those that will be bringing them. An informal vote showed 6-8 members will be taking a travel trailer. The club will take care of mowing the fields that will be used.
New Business
Jim asked if anyone was going to participate in the May 7QP QSO party.
April 13th is the Yakima Ham Fest. Same day as the NW Preparedness expo in Prosser.
Bill updated the club on the creation of club business cards that can be used to hand out to anyone that has interest in the club and would like general contact information.
Reminder from Dennis of the club breakfast this Saturday.
