Ongoing Business
1. On the topic of the Good Shepherd Hospital emergency communications equipment, an update from Anna was read (provided in written form as she was unable to attend the meeting): “Matt Moore has not been able to order the power supplies yet; he was trying to find a supplier that they have an account with versus paying with credit card as they did on the radios. He will let us know when they come in.” We will await word from him and will also wait for Chuck to interface with the hospital again to arrange another visit by the team of interested club members.
2. Dennis provided a solar report to the club.
3. Field Day – June 24th and 25th, 2023. How many are planning to attend? Emery with trailer, Whitley with trailer, Tony with trailer, Jeff K. with tent, Sam with trailer.
4. One radio is still available for sale from Don’s estate equipment. The radio is a working Yaesu FTM-400 and the price is $385.
5. Sam inquired with Pea Ridge Embroidery about their stewardship of our logo. Sam said that the person he talked to had never heard of HARC. Kevin said that he would call Sherry at Pea Ridge to see if she knew about the logo and where we might find it. Whitley says that he has the logo on a vest and that Pea Ridge should also have a copy of the logo.

2. Whitley mentioned that we need to swap out the .02 antenna for the freshly-painted antenna sometime this summer. We’re targeting a weekend day in May. Whitley will make a trip up to the repeater before then to clean up the shack a bit.
3. Dennis asked if it would be appropriate to return the keys to the Agape House. Emery made a motion to do so. Kevin seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
4. Repeater interference – Jeff K and Emery gave a summary of the repeater interference issue. Whitley, Emery, and Dennis said that they would be able to go up to take measurements at the repeater this month.
5. Dennis made a trip to the Boardman Fire Department because he received a call from them telling him that Don Drayton had left an antenna and a spool of coax there. A discussion ensued about what the nature of the antenna was, and Jeff S. and Emery tried to recollect what that antenna and coax were there for.
