Ongoing Business:
- Dennis provided a solar report to the membership.
- Testing – We have had no applicants this month, according to an email from Kevin dated Sunday, January 4th. Kevin said in that email that he will cancel the test session for this month today (Monday) if no applications to test are received in the meantime. Jeff K. said that the school district has Chromebooks to donate to the testing cause and will do so soon.
- Fourth Thing – Perhaps tour the local commercial radio station in February? Jeff will reach out to the radio station to coordinate a tour.
- Inventory List – Todd wanted to know where the inventory is actually located. Anna pointed out that the inventory sheet lists the current locations of the various pieces of equipment.
- Winter Field Day – Anna handed out examples of last year’s postcard that we used to invite hams to the event. Rhett said that he would be able to print this year’s postcards using the spreadsheets that he has. Sam sent an email update on this year’s Winter Field Day planning with the following bullet points, which were read by Jeff:
a. Paperwork was dropped off with the City.
b. Sam will meet with Brian Rust at EOTEC in the next few weeks.
c. Overnight available. Rigs parked on pavement only. Some power available. No water or sewer open.
d. Current Planned Overnighters – W7ILD, KD7VX, KJ7NYZ, AA7TH.
e. Boom Truck is planned.
f. Seeking owners/coordinators to set up the club station. N2SRX is the current steward of the go-box.
Sam I. and Tony are planning to overnight as well. Various people will bring food items and coffee to share. Rhett will register the club’s location at winterfieldday.org. Setup will begin at approximately 1 PM on Friday.
New Business:
- ChangeX grant window – Applications are due January 30th. If anyone has an idea for a grant application that we could write, please let Jeff K. know so that we can work on getting that done.

The meeting was adjourned by KJ7NYZ at 19:51.
