The May 10th, 2021 monthly HARC meeting was held at the Agape House and called to order by KJ7MI at approximately 19:00. The meeting was recorded by KI7CUS.

The April 2021 meeting minutes and Treasurer’s Report were distributed via email by J. Kelso on 5/4/2021.
The April 2021 meeting minutes were read by Jeff Sak. A motion was made by Emery and seconded by Don for the adoption of the minutes. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s Report was read at the meeting by KJ7MI. Ending balance was $3,334.56.
Ongoing Business
1. During the April meeting, Whitley brought up the fact that the .02 antenna at the repeater site needs to be painted. Emery mentioned that the solar panel frame still needs to be fixed. It was decided that the .16 antenna would be swapped in for the .02 antenna so that the .02 antenna could be taken down and painted. Whitley wasn’t present at the May meeting, so the decision was made to discuss this at the June meeting.
2. There was some discussion about getting a repeater up at a Forest Service location, but no clear path forward was determined. The topic was brought up briefly at the May meeting but was tabled until the June meeting.
New Business
- Anna mentioned that she is planning to contact the newspaper to speak with them about Ian and ham radio in the community. Anna asked for recommendations for leaders of the club to potentially put into contact with a reporter. Anna will give the reporter Dennis and Jeff K.’s contact info.
- It was brought up again that the club should sign up for Amazon Smile so that people can donate via Amazon purchases. KJ7MI said that he would investigate further and try to get the club signed up.
